There were some bright spots that arose from Covid. One was my ongoing collab with legendary Nashville session man, Tom Bukovac.
If you play guitar and haven’t stumbled across Tom’s Home Skoolin’ YouTube channel (@501chorusecho), stop reading this and head down that rabbit hole. The show is equal parts beer drinking, gear tinkering, and knowledge sharing from a man who has played on a ton of albums sitting in your library right now (check out his Wikipedia page).
Any regular viewer knows Tom’s preferred beverage is Rolling Rock, so I reached out to him with a hand-drawn design that reimagined the RR label as t-shirt art for Tom’s Home Skoolin’ show. He loved it and we printed and sold them online through his buddy’s guitar store. We were both floored by the response – and even had Rolling Rock step up to make a donation to help struggling performing musician’s during Covid.
That led to another shirt. And another. And another. You get the idea. Cheers.
