In 2012, I lived a few miles from Sandy Hook, and it changed my view on what we could hope to accomplish around sensible gun control.

Now it seems we’re left to endure each successive shooting with growing waves of anger, frustration and hopelessness.

Below are two separate initiatives that I am proud to have helped bring to life.

The first is a series of t-shirts that summed up what I was feeling personally after the Uvalde shooting, and whose sales would be donated to Everytown USA to help them further their mission.

The second is a suicide prevention campaign, the brainchild of my talented colleague Dan Crumine. I was inspired to help design and stuff boxes at a handful of local ammo shops. At the time of this posting, Dan is pursuing some opportunities with open-minded ammunition manufacturers and he hopes to take this up a few notches in terms of reach and awareness.
