So we took inspiration from a pop culture touchstone to give the brand an engaging, effective way to offer a mea culpa and entice installs.
Here in Ohio, Donatos enjoy a level of awareness and loyalty that most pizza brands pine for. But their in-app ordering experience left a lot to be desired. So the approach was simple – own and acknowledge the issues, fix them, and invite people to come back and try our app again.
We set up a camera in their office and then sprang some of the harshest reviews on owners and leadership, and captured their authentic reactions. Proving that, sometimes the best ads don’t need a script.
